nope! it's safe... Coworking spaces solve that problem that exist in cafes/coffee shops. You can leave your laptop and belongings here while you go out for lunch, washroom, smoke breaks, running errands, etc.
The Hub has a receptionist on weekdays from 9-5 so we know who is coming in and out.
Full time members can leave their things at the office after hours, as they have their own sets of keys and unique alarm code to access the building. Drop-in members have to clear their things at the end of the day (5pm)
